Review: I started using Comic Reader Mobi on my HTC Touch Diamond. Yeah, WinMo and it was awesome then. Now I use it on my Droid X and it is pretty sweet. If you need a comic reader that you can sideload your comics into, there isn't another one as good as this.

Review: Bought CBM a few days ago, and love it! Running CBM v3.1.2, and it is the best and fastest comic reader, with far far fewer crashes than the others I've used in my year with Android. Running ICS on my Xoom and CBM is flawless. If you're as serious about your comics as I am (50+ years as a fanboy and proud of it!), it is well worth the price.

Seriously, don't waste your time and effort with the others in the Market: been there, done that, even got the t-shirt! Bite the bullet and buy CBM!

Review: I decided to invest in Comic Reader Mobi after reading about how it could be used (with a little bit of tweaking) on the Kindle Fire. Your site provided step-by-step instructions of how to get all the components needed onto the Fire, without having to worry about things like rooting the system or other activities too technical for many of us.

For the most part, everything worked without a hitch - there was a bit of effort in getting it to actually FIND the comic files once they were installed - a combination of sub-directories and randomly clicking until they decided to magically appear seems to have done the trick, though.

I can finally read through the entirety of the ElfQuest saga (which is, for all practical purposes, classified as "shareware" on the ElfQuest website) using a device that actually FEELS like a comic book - albeit a bit heavier than your standard ~30-page issue! I'd had readers for the computer before, but it's just not the same if you can't sit down in a chair and "curl up" for a good read.

I'm impressed with the ease of using the reader, and the ability to "zoom in" anywhere on any page at the touch of the screen, not being restricted to artificially displayed "panels" that often cropped off part of relevant image details. That one ability alone makes it worth the price, and justifies my purchase of the Kindle Fire as more than a device to play freeware games on. :)

Considering how well it works "outside the box" like this, I'm anxiously awaiting to see what improvements are made in the future - especially if you decide to create a customized-for-Fire edition!

Review: Using it now on my Android HTC HD2 (and since Windows Mobile 6.5 ont the same phone), for me the best by far comic reader ever. It's really worth the price if you are a comic addict !
I plan also to use it on my future Android tablet.

Review: This used to be THE best comic reader on Android! on my "old" SGS I could choose where my comics were stored, The magnifier worked flawlessly, And it looked great and I never had a FC. Then came the dreaded update that changed all this. I could no longer choose the path for comics, it FC'ed if I tried to point it to the SD card (or to any thing other than internal phone /comics and even there it was laggy, FC'ed alot and became unusable. Then it got removed from the market and I tried installing the apk on a fresh device still buggy and chain FC's
Now Im on the 3.x on my SGS2 and it is still FC'ing and have problems choosing the path... I just get one line with all my folders in one long path and it still cant see all the comics. I get freezes and FC's all the friggin time which makes the reader unusable.

Well all that out of the way I really hope that Ty etc. gets this fixed as it (when it was working) was THE best comic reader I have tried (and I have tried them all). And I hope they get it working as they seem like they deserve it. (Every time I have contacted them I have gotten nothing but helpful replies and fairness).

I'll keep an eye on development and stand ready to jump on this train once it gets rolling.

Review: Easiest to use and highly funvtional, with page flipping effects makes this a winner. Must say that running out of memory for some files split pages cuts the 5 star to 4.

I'm now writing in german but I'll try it to translate in english:
The CRM is good, but it cannot read PDF files. I can only give 4 points. The version 3.0.0. is very bad. It's loading and loading the pages and it will loading in 3000 years now. It's not going on the iPhone. So i have load the version 2.3.3. I cannot browse like a real book, but it is functionully.

Review: The desktop version is broken-my machine (I-7 975 w/3 gb ram Gforce gtx 295 under win xp pro) Can change the 1st page but it flips back to the cover when trying to change again. If you click outside the bounds of the page or cover it crashes with a bewildering 25 or so error messages about illegal memory access. Hope you can get it fixed works good on PPC and android.
